Over the next ten years, on average, two churches per week will close their doors in the Netherlands because they will lose their purpose. Fortunately, Stadsherstel was able to save many churches from demolition. Some examples of successful repurposing of these churches can be seen in the church tower of the Zaandijkerkerk. You can learn about the history of the church and at the top 

In the tower you can read more about the history of the church and from the upper level you will have a beautiful view of the surroundings including the windmills of the Zaanse Schans. Look further!
